Bind/R has a lower carbon footprint than lime, particularly imported hydraulic lime which is mined and transported from around the world. The alkalinity of Bind/R which is as much as 10 times lower than that of hydrated lime increases worker safety and worksite hazards. The final hempcrete wall can be rendered within a week or less and can speed up the move-in date by MONTHS!     Yes. Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, industrial hemp, or hemp that has less than 0.3% THC, is legal to grow throughout the US. Our products are made with just this type of hemp.

    Yes! Our insulation is 100% pourable.

  3. How fast does hemp insulation set up?

    It takes just a few hours for our insulation to fully set up.

  4. Does hemp insulation contain THC?

    No. All industrial hemp contains less than 0.3% THC.

  5. What will I have to buy to use Bison's hemp insulation?
